About Save My Life
Save My Life is an initiative by the Organization for Rare Diseases India, a national umbrella organization representing the collective voice of all patients with rare diseases in India, set up as a section 25 non-profit company in India.
Our objectives
are
To promote Rare Diseases as human rights priority through public awareness.
To contribute towards development of Public Policy and take part in implementation, such as Rare Disease Policy and Orphan Drug Policy.
To collaborate with advocacy organizations from India, and people living with rare diseases; working jointly to connect them with national & international forums such as NORD, EURORDIS, RDI, Global gene, UDN, etc.
To accelerate diagnosis and treatment options for patients with rare diseases through public-private partnerships, and by advocating mandatory New Born screening·
To Facilitate & encourage Clinical Trials , Research & Orphan drug development activities.
Patients
Our foremost aim is to support the patients find monetary assistance for their treatment programs. If you or any member of your family/friends/contacts require monetary support to avail treatment, please contact us. We typically support individuals in dire financial need suffering from a rare/chronic/genetic disorder given the financial burden of extended treatment, supportive care, Medical equipment’s, therapy etc.

In order to crowd fund the financial assistance on our platform, we require the following:
1. Complete personal details of the patient.
2. Financial status information.
3. Certified medical reports from the hospital with complete contact details of Mobile and email ID for treating physician
4. Recommendation letter from the doctor/treating hospital.
