Our endeavor is to continuously work towards enabling, engaging and empowering people with need to lead a respectable normal life.

We typically support individuals in dire financial need suffering from a rare/chronic/genetic disorder given the financial burden of extended treatment, supportive care, Medical equipment’s, therapy etc.

About Pompe Foundation
Pompe foundation is a Trust started by the parents of a little girl who is fighting against this orphan disease, the Pompe foundation is here to help ease the burden of patients and parents of Pompe.
The inspiration behind this initiative is Mrs Sharada Shirol who has spent last 20 years in taking care of her daughter Nidhi and has faced lot of financial challenges every now and then. She knows the sufferings of patients, parents and caregivers to save life of loved one. India lacks a robust public healthcare system and individuals who do not have financial strength find little/no access to the treatment for rare/chronic/genetic disorder or for supportive care. Many individuals lose life for want of treatment. In order to fill the existing gap and enable such individuals avail financial assistance. This idea of crowd funding platform was conceived with a difference to make difference.
Save My Life is intended to function as a crowd sourcing site in the health domain.
1. We aim at connecting individuals to those willing donors or philanthropists who can finance and support their treatment, either by way of donations or interest free loans.
2. Build a team of volunteers to support, validate such request in every part of India.
3. Financial assistance would be extended to the person in need only after an authentication check, to ensure the funds reach and benefit the right person.
4. We also aim at bringing together medical and healthcare professionals, biotech and pharmacy professionals, hospitals, healthcare organizations, and corporations.

How Does It Work?
Save My Life uses the power of the internet and people-networking to enable donors and philanthropists support individuals with rare/chronic/genetic disorder.
We offer 2 types of support to raise funds.
1. Complete financial support as per validated requirement.
For individual requirement full amount can be raised. No refund required.
2. Emergency loan facility
As medical emergency brings an un expected shock to family and family may not be prepared in such cases. At the same time family do not wants to take donations and are potentially capable or willing to returns at a later date. In such cases they can start a campaign for Loan requirement.
This is either free for immediate requirement and patient can refund in stipulated time. This may be interest free for some period and later some nominal charges /interest is charged. This is based on the family background and potential.
